About Us
Our Story
Ballistic K9 Canada started with a passion for helping people and their dogs. We use our education and experience to help owners build a structured, healthy relationship with their dogs, and to give them the skills to handle their dogs with confidence in everyday life.
Whether you have a new puppy, a family dog that needs better manners, or a dog dealing with reactivity or aggression, our goal is to help you understand your dog and enjoy life together.
Meet Vedran
Vedran brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to every class. His teaching style is direct and focused on detail, but also dynamic and creative, so every session is clear and engaging.
Vedran has trained dogs for competitive obedience, protection work, law enforcement and international anti-poaching K9 units. In 2023, he worked with anti-poaching K9 units in Africa, training their handlers and helping to protect and preserve wildlife. He has also served in the Canadian Armed Forces and worked in the youth justice system as a leader and instructor, which gave him extensive experience teaching people. Vedran is also a certified trial decoy with IronDog Canada.
Meet Fabio
Fabio has a great sense of humour and makes training a great experience for the whole family. With almost 35 years of experience, he has developed a very effective way of working with dogs that have behavioural issues like aggression, and he has rehabilitated countless dogs.
Fabio is also an expert in tracking and offers a unique chance for the public to learn tracking with their own dogs. His background includes producing and training law enforcement K9s, with dogs placed with the RCMP, OPP, Toronto Police, London Police and Corrections, to name a few.
Our Promise
Ballistic K9 Canada was established in 2020, and we are proud to be a Canadian company. We value our clients because they give us the chance to do what we love. Our goal is to keep improving dog education for our clients and for every person and dog who comes to our facility.
Book a consultation with us at Ballistick9Canada where an in-depth assessment is completed of your dog with us in person. We will review your dog’s history, living environments, habits, behavioural issues and other factors to determine the best suited program for you and your K9. At the consultation we go over the results of the assessment, our programs, costs and any of your questions in detail. The consultation is completely free of charge and the first step to reaching your K9’s true potential.
